Day 1 – Arrival at Jaipur – Jaipur Half Day Sightseeing

Upon your arrival in Jaipur, our representatives will greet and help with your luggage and transfer to your accommodation. Welcome to the “Pink City” that represents the hospitality of this beautiful place dotted with old and beautiful forts, temples, and palaces. We immediately head to your hotel for check-in to let you rest after a long journey here.

Your half-day tour starts afterward, with the City Palace as our first destination. Today, it is still the home of Jaipur royal family and has an iconic pink façade and was built in 1732, or nearly 300 years ago after Jaipur became the capital city. There’s also Hawa Mahal, also known as the Palace of Breeze, which is built at the edge of the City Palace where the royal ladies typically reside for “pardah” where they can observe street processions and other activities without revealing their face to the public. Visit the observatory of the founder of Jaipur, the Jantar Mantar, where you can find 20 astronomical instruments Rajput king Sawai Jai Singh II made and used. They are examples of the king’s innovations and great masonry works.

By evening time, we’ll get ready to shop at Johari Bazaar which is a paradise for shoppers. It is also near the Hawa Mahal that we visited earlier today, and you’ll see why it’s called the Jeweler’s Market! Alternatively, we invite you to explore the ethnic village of Chokhi Dhani (optional), with additional cost for entry and dinner. Chokhi Dhani is a village resort where you can enjoy the culture, art, tradition, authentic cuisine, and many more in one place.

Enjoy the cultural blast in this village before we head back to your hotel in Jaipur for overnight stay.

One of the famous items in the City Palace are two silver jars which have found place in the Guinness Book of World Records as the largest silver vessels in the world.

Day 2 – Full Day Excursion to Ajmer & Pushkar

Enjoy your early breakfast at the hotel today before we head out. We’re going on a full-day excursion to Ajmer and Pushkar, with Ajmer comparatively bigger than Pushkar. While we’re here, we’re going to visit Ajmer Sharif Dargah, the dargah of Moinuddin Chishti. This is the tomb of Moinuddin Chishti from the 13th century, who was highly venerated throughout his reputation after arriving Delhi and later, Ajmer. Another site we’re going visit here is the Adhai Din Ka Jhonpra, Ajmer’s oldest and historically rich mosque that was completed in 1192 by the commission of Qutb-ud-Din-Aibak. It was designed by Abu Bakr of Herat and is an exemplar mosque designed in Indo-Islamic style. Take a calming walk on the lakeside of Ana Sagar Lake, an artificial lake over 13 km wide with an island in the center of it, made in the 12th century after a dam was built on Luni River.

Ajmer is the gateway to visit Pushkar, about 15km away, a famous, ancient Hindu pilgrimage city. It is home to more than 400 temples and we’re not going to miss the many ghats that can be seen here. We start from the center of the temples, the sacred Pushkar Lake, that’s believed to have medicinal properties for those who bath in one of the 52 bathing ghats. We’ll also be visiting the number of temples out of the hundreds that dot the surrounding of the lake. Rangji Temple is a temple dedicated to Lord Vaikuntha Venkatesh or Lord Rangji, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu. One of the most visually satisfying temples is the Man Mahal which features impressive Rajasthani architecture which also have gorgeous views of another nearby sacred lake. This palace cum hotel was built by Raja Man Singh I of Amber meant to serve as a temporary stay for his guests and himself when visiting Pushkar. Finally, we’re not going to miss the main attraction of Pushkar, the Temple of Lord Brahma, also known as Jagatpita Brahman Mandir, one of the rare, ancient temples dedicated to the Hindu Creator God. Then visit one last gorgeous pilgrimage site, Savitri Temple, which is dedicated to the Goddess Savitri. At the hilltop where you can get a dazzling view of Pushkar City and the surrounding mountain range when the weather is clear.

We’ll head back to your hotel in the evening for your overnight stay in Jaipur.

 The Pushkar Fair, also known as Pushkar Mela held every year between the months of October and November on the occasion of the holy Kartik Purnima over a period of seven days.

Day 3 – Transfer from Jaipur to Jaisalmer

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive towards Jaisalmer (600 kms/11 hrs). On arrival check-in to your hotel or desert camp.

Day 4 – Full Day Jaisalmer Local Sightseeing

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today. Get ready for a full-day local sightseeing tour to the impressive historical sites in Jaisalmer.

The tour begins from Jaisalmer Fort located in the city center. It is the pride of Jaisalmer, the second oldest fort in Rajasthan built by the ruler who named the city himself, Rawal Jaisal. The fort doesn’t just serve as a fortress – people today still live inside the fort since it was built in 1156 with shops, hotels, and old homes still standing. It is also known by the names “Sonar Kila” and “Golden Fort” due to the shining yellow sandstone.

The Raj Mahal is the main palace within the fort, a seven-storey old palace filled with history as the former home of the king. We’ll also check out the Laxminath and Jain Temples of Jaisalmer. Laxminath Temple was built in 1494, dedicated to the Hindu God Vishnu and Goddess Lakshmi with a strategic view of the city. There are 7 Jain temples within, decorated with the most exquisite frescoes, mirrors, and intricate carvings on the walls. There’s also the Tazia Tower which is known for the beautiful carved balconies. The gorgeous Jawahar Niwas Palace is the big sandstone palace that you don’t want to miss as well!

After the fort, we’re going to check out the beautiful Havelis, starting with the Patwon ki Haveli where you walk inside the luxurious Mansion of Brocade Merchants, built by a rich trader in the 19th century. It’s also known as Kothari’s Patwa Haveli and is actually a cluster of five smaller havelis built for the five sons of Guman Chand Patwa in 1805. Next up is the Nathmal Ki Haveli which was built in the 19th century, a historical mansion within the city center where Diwan Mohta Nathmal used to reside. Explore the rooms and halls of this majestic mansion that features a mix between Rajput and Mughal architecture. Marvel at the intricate carvings that adorn the walls of the temple within before we finally end the day’s tour. And the Salim Singh-ki-Haveli located near the railway and built in 1815 by Salim Singh the prime minister. This distinctive Haveli was the home of the prime minister, a beautiful home that captivated many tourists.

Then we’ll visit the Gadisar Lake. This is a manmade water reservoir which was at one point, the only source of water in Jaisalmer. The reservoir was constructed by Raja Rawal Jaisal, the first ruler of Jaisalmer, and subsequent ghats and temples were built along the banks. Enjoy the best view by boating through the calm lake and listening to the sound of migratory birds.

We’ll head back to the hotel or desert camp for your overnight stay in Jaisalmer afterwards.

 Enjoy a Camelback Safari or 4X4 Jeep till the Sunset point to get spectacular views of Thar desert.

Day 5 – Transfer from Jaisalmer to Jodhpur

After breakfast, check-out from the hotel and drive to Jodhpur (330 kms / 6 hrs). On arrival check in to your hotel and relax. Evening free for own activity. Overnight stay at Jodhpur.

Day 6 – Jodhpur Half day Sightseeing & Transfer To Udaipur

After breakfast start for half day sightseeing covering Umaid Bhawan Palace, Mehrangarh Fort and Jaswant Thada. After that transfer to Udaipur. On arrival check-in to your hotel. In the evening take a breathtaking boat tour over the picturesque Lake Pichola (at your own cost) to admire the royal buildings around the Lake and enjoy the scenic sunset view. From the lake you have a wonderful view of the City Palace stretching along the east bank, while the south bank has pleasant gardens running down to the waterside. Overnight stay at Udaipur.

Day 7 – Full day Udaipur Local Sightseeing

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we head out. Get ready for a full-day sightseeing around Udaipur to get a taste of the legacy and history of this city. We’ll start from the City Palace of Udaipur, Rajasthan’s largest royal complex where Kings used to call home. Visitors can explore the various mahals, courtyards and pavilions built in this complex. Up at the highest point of the complex is the Amar Vilas that’s known for the beautiful hanging gardens. We’ll then visit Fateh Prakash Palace as well, a breathtaking site with an amazing view. Check out the inside of the Krishna Vilas chamber that houses a collection of miniature paintings. The elegant Manak Mahal lives up to its name, adorned with many red colored glass and mosaic. The Mor Chowk is a beautiful court that was built during the reign of Rana Karan Singhji. The Sheesh Mahal is a luxurious hotel that’s a pride of Udaipur. Near the edge of the City Palace is the Zenana Mahal which has been restored as a hotel. It used to serve as the palace for the royal ladies. We also won’t miss out on Sheesh Mahal and Rang Bhawan that brags exquisite view.

Then we’ll head over to the Jagdish Temple in Udaipur, a Hindu temple that’s been worshipped since 1651. Dedicated to Lord Vishnu who’s also known as the preserver of the universe. It is a Mewar dynasty’s architectural achievement as the 79-feet tall structure adorn the skyline of Udaipur.

Then visit Vintage Car Museum where any vintage car enthusiasts will love to check out their antique car collection. There are around 20 of them with 4 Rolls-Royce’s, 2 Cadillacs, and a lot of convertibles.

We’ll make a photo stop at Nehru Garden which is located on an island within Fateh Sagar Lake. Enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the artificial lake surrounded by Aravalli Hills and the calming ride to the island in the middle. Nehru Garden is a floating restaurant with garden in the shape of a boat. Then we head to the gardens on the banks of Fateh Sagar Lake, Saheliyon-Ki-Bari, the Courtyard of Maiden. These gardens are built under the embankment of the lake and has beautiful lotus pools, marble pavilions and elephants, built in 1734 for the royal ladies. It was a present from Maharana Sangram Singh for his queen and her 48 maids.

Visit the craftsmen of Shilpgram where you can watch men at work, demonstrating their dexterity in handcrafting. This heritage village was established in 1989 has audio-visual centers with documentaries on the history and tradition of Indian art and craft. You can also bring home with your something to remember the trip by here!

Prepare for an evening trip to Lake Pichola and at an extra cost, you can even boat through the waters to enjoy the view. As the sun slowly sinks in the horizon, it turns the lakeside buildings and your surrounding golden. You can see the City Palace in the east and the gardens in the south. Head back to the hotel afterward for your overnight stay in Udaipur.

 Embark on a 45min Sunset Boat Cruise on Lake Pichola and admire grandiose palaces on the lakeside (on direct payment) Enjoy Puppet Show at Lok Kala Mandal – 12Pm to 1PM / 6PM to 7PM

Day 8 – Departure from Udaipur

Enjoy your breakfast at the hotel today before we check-out. Before anything, we’re going to make a stop at Maharana Pratap Smarak, a memorial with a statue of Maharana Pratap on his horse on top of Pearl Hill. Enjoy the view of the city and lake from this tranquil location. Then drive to Bhartiya Lok Kala Mandal which is a cultural institution preserving and educating folk art, songs, and festivals of the region (if time permits).

The ride continues to the airport or railway station for your scheduled departure. We know you’re heading back home with smiles from the awesome experience of this trip!
