Day 1 BANGALORE (ARRIVAL)

Upon arrival at Bangalore, meet assistance by our executive followed by transfer to Mysore. Enroute visit “Tippu Summer Palace” at Srirengapatnam. On reaching mysore sightseeing visiting – the Famous “Palace of Mysore”: Built in 1912 in the indo Saracenic style, this palace exudes a grandeur that is unmatched and then on to The “Jayachanarajendra Art Gallery” housed in the Jaganmohan palace: that has a collection of Exquisite paintings dating back to 1875. Day 2 MYSORE TO OOTY

Today after breakfast check out from hotel and drive to Ooty – also known as Nigiris. On arrival check in into the hotel and later for the sightseeing tour of visiting famous Botanical garden – spread over a huge area of 22 hectares and with more than 650 species of flowers and trees, is a horticulturist’s delight. The highlight of the garden is a fossil tree that is believed to be 20 million years old.  The Doddabetta peak – at an altitude of 8,606 feet is the highest point of South India. The view of Nilgiris from here is breathtaking. The Rose Garden – – located in the heart of Ooty is one of the largest rose gardens in India and also a popular tourist attraction. The beautiful garden is spread across 10 acres of land and houses some of the largest collections of roses in the country. The Wax museum here in is also interesting to visits. End your day at the Ooty lake – a 2.5-kilometre long lake meandering through the scenic beauty of the Nilgiris. Day 3 IN OOTY / SIGHTSEEING OF COONOOR

After breakfast, proceed to Coonoor by the famous TOY TRAIN (ticket subject to availability) for a beautiful ride from Ooty – Coonoor. Upon reaching coonoor the driver will pick you from station and proceed for sightseeing visiting Sim’s park – a beautiful botanical garden located in Coonoor is a popular tourist attraction. Developed in 1874 this park is home to a variety of unusual species of plants, which have been brought from different parts of the world. Lamb’s rock – offers spectacular views of the lush forest, beautiful hills and coffee/tea estates. This makes the place an excellent picnic spot. Dolphin’s nose – a stunning viewpoint situated more than 1000 feet above sea level. Its unique rock formation and peak resembles a dolphin’s nose from where it derives the name. Day 4 OOTY TO KODAIKKANAL

Breakfast at residing hotel. Check out and drive to Kodaikkanal so called the \”Princess of Hills\” in South India. The winding road uphill with lush vegetation is a feast for your eyes. You will stop enroute at various viewpoints capturing stunning pictures of this lovely hill. Upon arrival at Kodaikanal Check in hotel and free evening to relax. (Overnight at hotel in Kodaikkanal)

Day 5 IN KODAIKANAL / SIGHTSEEING

Breakfast at residing hotel. Later proceed for sightseeing visiting Coakers Walk – provides a beautiful view by walking through the paved pedestrian path. Pine forest- one among the preserved treasures of Kodaikanal which would mesmerize the tourists by its beautiful ambiance. Guna caves – Earlier known as devil’s kitchen and now popularized by Tamil movie Guna, are deep bat-infested chambers between the three gigantic boulders that are the Pillar Rocks. Pillar rocks – is a set of three giant rock pillars which stands 122mtrs high. Green valley view- former known as Suicide point has an excellent panoramic view. Botanical Garden / Bryant park – is a wonderfully maintained 20.5acres of garden. You can end the day at famou s Kodai Lake – one of the beautiful manmade lake in the heart of Kodaikanal. Day 6 KODAIKKANAL TO THEKKADY/PERIYAR

After early breakfast checkout and drive to Periyar (also known as Thekkady) retrieves the name after the Dam made here by the English in 1895. A wild life reserve hence is an ideal place to track down wild life such as Elephants, Bison, Deer and numerous other varieties of birds. The landscape here is with very tropical and you will be surrounded by tea, coffee & other spices. Upon arrival at Thekkady, check in to hotel. Later proceed for the most popular boat trip at the National Park – the best way to observe game in wild is by boat. There are many animals to see, including herds of elephants, bison’s and packs of wild boars that roam through the woods and parade along the shores of the lake just before sunrise. You can also see also different species of apes. The golden langur monkey that lives here is rarely seen in the rest of India. Other animals in Periyar are otters and porcupines. Water turtles can often be seen sunning themselves on the pieces of wood that stick out of the water. Osprey and Cormorants belong to the most important species of birds in this area. Day 7 THEKKADY/PERIYAR TO ALLEPPEY

Check out after breakfast and reach Alleppey – the land of backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey, after 12noon you embark a private House boat that is waiting to take you on a tour through the backwaters Alleppey, a splendid area full of canals, lakes and coves. Very interestingly you get to see the whole life of people in here takes place here on the water. The people sail, fish, swim and bathe here. They do their washing and their washing up. They are so adapted to the water that, you can see people talking for an hour, while they are up to their necks in water.

Day 8 DEPARTURE TO COCHIN

Breakfast onboard houseboat. Disembark at 09.30am and drive to Cochin – a cosmopolitan city in the federal state of Kerala. On arrival at Cochin, sightseeing tour of Cochin visiting – ‘The Jewish Synagogue’ at the heart of what is locally called the Jew Town, ‘The Dutch Palace, Spice market at the narrow streets, The St. Francis Church’, the oldest European Church in India and the cochin boast “Chinese fishing nets”. Later free time for shopping at one of Asia’s biggest Shopping mall “LULU MALL”.

The tour ends today with a departure transfer to Cochin airport/Railway station for your return journey.

Day 5 IN MUNNAR / SIGHT SEEING

After Breakfast visit Eravikulam park (The main inhabitant of the Eravikulam park is Nilgiri Tahr. Now the park has the largest known population of Tahrs existing in the world. The park also shelters Atlas Moth, Elephants, Sambhars, Gaurs, Lion-tailed Macaque, Nilgiri Langur, Tigers and Leopards). Later visit to the “Tea museum” and see the processing of tea. Depending on interest you can also visit to Mattupetty and Echo point. The Evening is at leisure for own activities or walk around the market area for window shopping at this little hill town.  Day 1 Arrive Cochin – Munnar

On your arrival at Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station you will be welcomed by our representative. Further drive straight to Munnar hill station where you will go through the narrow hairpin roads and where you will enjoy a cool climate. Enroute stop at the Valera and Cheeyappara Waterfalls (less water other than in monsoon period from June to September). Munnar is famous for its large expanse of tea plantations , mountains and waterfalls along the way everywhere. Reaching Munnar, check into the hotel and relax. From the small town of Munnar, you may buy quality tea powders of Kannan Devan hills and home-made chocolates. Overnight at Munnar

Day 2 Munnar Full Day Sightseeing

After your breakfast you will be taken for a full day sightseeing in the lovely hill station. First visit the Eravikulam National Parklocated at the Rajamala Peak (closed during February & March months as it is the breeding season of mountain goats there) / (if possible it is better to take the park tickets in the morning itself from the reservation counter at Munnar town to avoid the long queue at the Park’s ticket counter) and the Tea Museum (closed on Mondays) located in the town. After lunch proceed to visit the Mattupetty Dam where you have an option to do speed boating, Echo Point and back to town to visit the Blossom Park (also known as Hydel Park which is open till 6pm). Day 3 Munnar – Alleppey (5hrs Drive)

After an early breakfast from the hotel , drive to Alleppey to embark the private houseboat at 12noon . Houseboat cruise with an overnight stay is the most thrilling experience which Kerala offers and undoubtedly this is the highlight of any trip to South India. Cruise around the beautiful backwaters and your crew members will serve delicious Kerala food around 1PM with a stopover . After lunch continue the cruise and during the journey you can see ancient temples, churches, paddy fields and can watch the day to day activities of the local people who live nearby. Evening you will get tea /coffee with snacks and around 5PM, the houseboat will be anchored a safe village area where you could walk around. There is no cruise during the night time. Day 4 Alleppey – Kovalam (4.5hrs Drive)

Post breakfast , the cruise will continue and disembark from the houseboat at Alleppey jetty at 9AM . Drive towards the world famous beach at Kovalam which is now a favorite relaxing destination for the tourists. Check in at the beach resort and relax. Here you have an option for various Ayurveda massages/treatments and if interested try the different sea foods options available at the in-house restaurant. Overnight at Kovalam

Day 5 Kovalam – Trivandrum City Sightseeing – Kovalam

Today after a relaxed breakfast from the hotel, you will be moved to Trivandrum city for a sightseeing. The sightseeing here includes the Napier Museum, Kuthira Malika or Puthen Malika (also known as Horse Palace), the famous Padmanabhaswamy Temple (only Hindus are allowed and dress code: ladies must wear saree or salwar & gents must wear dhotis /mundu & remove their shirt), Sri Chithra Art Gallery, etc. Also you can do a variety of shopping in the city- get some souvenirs which are handmade in Kerala. Back to Kovalam and Overnight at Kovalam

Day 6 Kovalam – Cochin

Day 7 Cochin Departure

Today after breakfast if time permits (if you have an evening departure) you can do the sightseeing of Fort Cochin covering the St. Francis Church, Chinese Fishing nets, Dutch Palace (closed on Saturdays) and the Jewish Synagogue (closed on Fridays & Saturdays). Later free for shopping and as per your departure schedule you will be transferred to Cochin Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station for your onward journey back home.

Day 1 Cochin – Munnar

On arrival Cochin Airport / Railway station you will meet our Airport representative, then proceed to Munnar “The Paradise for Honeymooners”.  Munnar is blessed with beautiful hills and is surrounded by Cardamom and Tea Plantations. It’s a nature lover’s paradise which is located above the sea level of 1660m. It is located among the tea plantations, winding lanes, green grass, flora and fauna. The hills, lakes, valleys and the forests make this place a perfect summer spot. It is located at the convergence of three mountain streams. The climate in Munnar is so pleasant that it has visitors throughout the year. En route you can visit the Valara and Cheeyappara Water Falls. On arrival check in to the Hotel and evening if your time permits you can walk through the Tea Planation area. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 2 Munnar

After breakfast, you will do a sightseeing tour in Munnar covering Mattupetty Dam, Eravikulam National Park to the see the Nilgiri Tahrs, Viewpoints, Blossom park, Flower Garden and Tea Museum. It is a sanctuary for the endangered mountain goat of South India, the Nilgri Tahr. Anamudi, the highest peak of South India, stands magnificently in the central area of the National park.  After the visit, go back to Hotel and overnight stay at Hotel. Eravikulam National Park is usually closed at the time of calving of Nilgri Tahr, which is from February to middle of April. Tea Museum in Munnar remains closed on all Mondays.

Day 3 Munnar – Thekkady

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Thekkady known as Periyar “Wild Life Sanctuary”.  Periyar is an exotic land blessed with verdant forests and spice plantation. This lovely land with lush flora and fauna is a perfect place for adventurous safaris, tiger trails and trekking. You can feel the oneness of Mother Nature at Periyar. On arrival check in to Hotel later you have option for Elephant ride, Spice planation visit if time permits, you can do boating at lake Periyar. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4 Thekkady -Kumarakom

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Kumarakom. You will experience a different world all together with the lake, houseboats floating among the coconut trees, and glimpse of the local life at Kumarakom. Bird sanctuary here is a safe-haven to millions of lovely birds and other species. Your days here will definitely be enriching.  You can see the large backwater of the Vembanadu Lake. On arrival check in to Hotel and relax, evening option for Motorboat or Canoe ride in the Lake. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 5 Kumarakom – Alleppey

After breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey, also known as Alappuzha “The Venice of the East”. Alleppey is a land of beautiful backwaters. This place also has a small Town, a Beautiful Old Light House and Beach.  Alleppey is a great option to explore the natural beauty of the Villages. On your arrival at Alleppey you will board the traditional “Kettuvallam” Houseboat at 12:00hrs from the boat jetty and start the cruise through the narrow canals and lakes. In this cruise, you can see the bridges, Canals, Temples, Churches, Paddy field, Day to day life of the Village people, Traditional red tiled Houses. Afternoon boat crew member will serve the traditional lunch with Karimeen fry (Pearl spot Fish Fry) in the boat and evening crew will provide Tea/ Coffee and Kerala snacks like Banana fry. Evening at 5:30pm boat will anchor for night halt at any quiet village or paddy field area, after 5:30pm we cannot move the boat as local people will put net in the water for fishing. In the night, dinner will be serves in the boat and overnight stay at Houseboat. Next day morning at 8:00 am your houseboat will start cruising again and after breakfast at 9:00am, boat will transfer you at Alleppey boat jetty. Your car will pick you up from here to drive to Cochin.

Day 6 Alleppey – Cochin Departure

After breakfast, check out from the Houseboat and proceed to Cochin. If time permits, you can do short sightseeing tour in Fort cochin covering Jewish Synagogue, Dutch Palace, Chinese fishing nets, St. Francis Church, Santa Cruz Basilica & later proceed to Cochin Airport / Railway station for your onward journey to back home.

Day 5 Alleppey – Kovalam

Disembark from houseboat at 9AM and drive to Kovalam beach. Check in at the beach resort and relax. You have option for Ayurveda massage. Overnight at Kovalam

Day 6 Kovalam- Kanyakumari – Kovalam

Today after your early breakfast proceed for a day trip to Kanyakumari. Sightseeing and back to Kovalam after sunset. Overnight at Kovalam
